Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of thepressureexperts.com. Two clauses below matter more than the rest. Most of what we write about are home blood pressure monitors, which are regulated medical devices, and the remainder are pressure washers, which can cause serious injury. Please read the Medical Disclaimer and the Pressure Equipment Safety clause even if you skip everything else.

1. Acceptance

By opening any page on this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of The Pressure Experts, and “you” means the person using the site.

2. What This Site Is

The Pressure Experts is an information website. We publish written summaries of consumer products, built from manufacturer specifications and retail listing data. We do not own, use, wear, operate, measure or test the products we describe. Nothing here is a laboratory result or a practical trial, and no statement on this site should be read as one.

We sell nothing. No payment is taken here and no order can be placed. The cart and checkout pages included with the underlying software are not connected to any seller or payment gateway. We do not ship, stock, service, repair, warrant or accept returns for any item mentioned on this website.

3. Medical Disclaimer

This is the most important clause on this page. This website publishes information about home blood pressure monitors as consumer products. Nothing on this website is medical advice, a medical opinion, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and nothing here creates a clinician and patient relationship of any kind.

Do not use anything published here to interpret a blood pressure reading. Do not use it to decide whether a reading is normal or concerning. Do not use it to start a medication, to stop a medication, to change a dose, or to delay contacting a healthcare professional. Those decisions belong to a qualified clinician who knows your history, and we are not in a position to make any of them.

Home monitoring is a supplement to professional medical care and never a replacement for it. A device bought after reading one of our summaries of an upper arm or wrist blood pressure monitor does not put you under any form of medical supervision. Readings taken at home should be discussed with a clinician, who is the person able to put them in context.

Measurement accuracy depends heavily on things the device cannot control. Cuff size is the largest of them. A cuff that is too small or too large for the arm it is placed on will produce misleading numbers even on a monitor that is working exactly as its maker designed it, and the same is true of poor posture, a moving arm, talking during a reading, a cuff placed over clothing, or an incorrect wrist position. Measure your upper arm circumference and check it against the range the manufacturer publishes before buying anything.

Where a product listing claims clinical validation, a validation protocol, a regulatory clearance or a specific accuracy figure, that is the manufacturer’s or the seller’s claim and not ours. We report such claims as claims, and we do not adopt them, confirm them or repeat them in our own voice. You should verify any validation or clearance status independently with the manufacturer or the relevant regulator before relying on it. Features advertised as detecting an irregular heartbeat flag an irregularity for a professional to assess; they do not diagnose anything.

If you have any concern about your blood pressure, contact a clinician. If you are experiencing symptoms, contact your local emergency services. Do not contact this website, and do not wait for a reply from us.

4. Pressure Equipment Safety

The other half of this catalog is cleaning equipment that can injure the person holding it. A pressure washer jet can penetrate skin and cause an injection injury that looks minor on the surface while doing serious damage underneath, and such injuries need immediate medical attention. Never aim the spray at a person or an animal, never at yourself, and never at your own hand to test it. Wear eye protection, and keep bystanders away from the working area.

Gasoline powered machines produce carbon monoxide, which is odorless and can be fatal. Never run a gasoline engine pressure washer indoors, in a basement, in a crawlspace or in a garage, and that includes a garage with the door open. Run them outdoors, away from doors, windows and air intakes.

High pressure water damages surfaces. It strips paint, etches soft wood, cracks grout, breaks window seals and forces water behind siding where it is not visible until it causes a problem. Choose the widest nozzle that will do the job, start further away than you think you need to, and test on an inconspicuous area first.

Electrically powered machines draw significant current, commonly require a ground fault circuit interrupter protected outlet, and are frequently supplied with a manufacturer restriction on extension cord use or on cord length and gauge. Follow that restriction. Water and mains electricity together are unforgiving.

In every case the manufacturer’s manual is the authoritative instruction for the machine you own. Where anything on this website differs from that manual, the manual is correct and this website is not. Read it before the first use and keep it.

5. Product Information and Specifications

Specifications shown on this site are drawn from manufacturer material and retail listings. That source data is frequently incomplete, occasionally self contradictory, and can go out of date the moment a maker revises a model without changing its name. Figures and units can be wrong, and a listing can describe a variant other than the one shipping. Where we can see a contradiction we name it rather than quietly choosing a side, but we cannot catch every error.

Confirm anything that matters to your decision directly with the manufacturer or the seller before you buy: cuff circumference range, power requirements, pressure and flow ratings, included accessories, warranty terms and current price. Do not treat a number on this website as final.

6. Affiliate Relationship

We take part in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and earn from qualifying purchases. Links from this site to a retailer are affiliate links unless stated otherwise, and clicking one may earn us a commission at no additional cost to you. The full explanation, including the fact that we do not test the products we write about, is on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

7. Permitted Use and Intellectual Property

You may read, print and share pages from this site for your own personal, non commercial use. You may not republish our text in bulk, scrape the site, resell its content, present it as your own work, or use it to train a commercial model without written permission. Product images, brand names and specification text belong to their respective owners. Our Copyright page explains who owns what and how to send a takedown notice.

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, submit automated traffic, or use it to distribute unlawful or abusive material.

8. No Warranty

This website and everything on it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or that any specification published here is complete or current.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive loss arising from your use of this site or from any decision you make after reading it. That includes losses connected to a purchase, to property damage, to personal injury, or to any health outcome. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and where a jurisdiction disallows an exclusion it applies only as far as the law allows.

10. External Links

Links to retailers, manufacturers and other outside resources are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or security, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you leave this site, the other party’s terms apply.

11. Privacy

Our handling of visitor data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please do not send medical details through our contact form; we are not able to act on them.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. The revised version takes effect when posted here, and the date below identifies the version in force. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. We may also change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the site operator is based, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protection you have under the mandatory law of your own country. If any clause here is unenforceable, the rest stay in force.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms, corrections to a specification, and takedown requests all go through the form on our contact page. It is the only channel we operate.
