Affiliate Disclosure

The Pressure Experts is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

That statement is at the top of this page on purpose. Under the Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements, a financial relationship has to be disclosed clearly and before you act on a recommendation, not buried at the bottom of a page nobody scrolls to. The paragraphs below explain exactly how the arrangement works.

Assume Every Product Link Is an Affiliate Link

Unless a page says otherwise, treat every outbound link to a retailer on this site as an affiliate link, including buy buttons, product names and images that lead to a store. If you click one and then buy something, we may receive a commission on that order. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had typed the retailer’s address into your browser yourself. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, never out of your pocket, and nothing is added to your total.

We Do Not Test the Products We Write About

This belongs in a disclosure page as much as the money does. We do not buy, own, wear, operate or measure any of the equipment described on this site. Our pages about home blood pressure monitors and about electric pressure washers are built from manufacturer specifications and retail listing data, and nothing in them is a practical trial or a measurement taken by us. Where a maker claims validation, clearance or a specific accuracy figure, we attribute the claim to the maker rather than adopting it. Our About page describes the process in more detail, including how we handle listings that contradict themselves.

What the Commission Does and Does Not Influence

Affiliate income is the only revenue this site has, and it is what pays for hosting and for the time spent writing. It does not buy a manufacturer a favorable sentence. No brand pays us for placement, for a rating or for a review, and none of them see a page before it is published. Commission rates vary by product category, so in principle a site like this has an incentive to steer readers toward higher paying categories. We do not order our pages that way, and where a product has a real drawback in its published specifications we say so on the same page that carries the link.

Prices, Availability and Tracking

We do not publish live prices or stock levels. Retail listings change constantly, and the figure on the retailer’s page at the moment you look at it is the only one that counts. Attribution works through a cookie that the retailer sets in your browser when you click through, which for the Amazon program lasts a short and limited period. Our Cookie Policy explains that window honestly, including what happens if you add an item to a cart.

Your Purchase Is With the Retailer

Nothing is sold on this website. Once you follow a link you are shopping with someone else, under their terms, their returns policy and their warranty handling. We cannot see, change, cancel or refund an order. The disclaimers that apply to what we publish, including the medical and equipment safety clauses, are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
