This page explains who owns what on thepressureexperts.com, what you may do with it, and how to tell us if something here belongs to you and should not be.
Our Own Material
The written text on this site is ours. That covers the editorial prose in our product write ups, the category introductions, the site policies, page titles and headings, and the way information is selected, compared and arranged. Copyright in that material belongs to the operator of The Pressure Experts and is protected in the United States and internationally.
Material That Is Not Ours
A large part of what appears on this site was created by somebody else, and we do not claim it.
- Product images are supplied by manufacturers and retailers and remain the property of those rights holders. They appear here to identify the item being discussed.
- Specifications, model numbers, feature lists and descriptive text originate with the manufacturer or the retail listing. Facts themselves are not copyrightable, but the wording that carries them can be, and that wording belongs to whoever wrote it.
- Brand names, product names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. We use them descriptively, to say which product a page is about. Their appearance here does not mean the brand endorses, sponsors, reviews or is affiliated with this site, and none of them are.
- Amazon, the Amazon logo and related marks are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. We take part in the Amazon Associates program, which is a linking arrangement and not a partnership.
What You May Do
You may read, print and save pages for your own personal use. You may quote a short passage in an article, forum post or video as long as you attribute it to The Pressure Experts and link to the page you took it from. Linking to us needs no permission at all, and we welcome it.
What You May Not Do
Without written permission you may not republish our text in whole or in substantial part, copy pages onto another website, translate and repost them, sell or license our material, scrape the site in bulk, remove our attribution, or present our writing as your own. Republishing a rewritten version that follows our structure and comparisons closely enough to be recognizable is also not acceptable.
If Something Here Is Yours
If you own the rights to an image, a passage of text or any other material published on this site and you want it removed, send a notice through the form on our contact page. It is the only channel we operate for this. To let us act quickly, include the exact URL of the page, a description of the material and where on the page it appears, proof or a clear explanation of your ownership, your name and a contact address, and a statement that you believe the use is not authorized by the rights holder or by law.
We take these notices seriously and we do not argue about images. In practice a valid request results in the material being taken down or replaced rather than debated. If you believe material was removed in error, send a counter notice through the same form explaining why, and we will restore it if the explanation holds.
Accuracy and Liability
Content is published in good faith and is drawn from sources that are often incomplete or contradictory, which we describe on our About page. We do not warrant that it is free of errors and we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on it. The full disclaimers, including the medical disclaimer that applies to our blood pressure monitor pages and the safety clause that applies to pressure equipment, are in our Terms and Conditions.
